country and is been looked at as a pace setter in the northern states.
Under Governor Arc Mohammed Namadi Sambo, Kaduna state is getting what

Kaduna State is essentially an agrarian
society which has the potentials to grow a diverse variety
of crops both arable and tree. It also has potentials for
the Livestock Industry and fisheries considering its
endowments with both natural water bodies and dams. The
state has a total land area of about 4.4m. hectares out of
which about 2.0m hectares is arable land, with population
of over 6million (2007 Census) made up of 450,
170 farming families. Governor Namadi Sambo is
restructuring the Agriculture Sector to meet international
standard with support to rural farmers and attract
investments to the state.
