In
recognition of this sector as a vital tool for the mobilization and the
sensitization of the citizenry on all progammes, policies and actions of
Government, the sector has been maintaining this role using the various
medial channels located in the State to actualize this objective. The sector
has been disseminating information on Government activities through the
Bi-Weekly Press Briefings Exclusive Press Release and Documentaries. To
boost the activities of the sector, Government approved a sponsored
progammes on FRCN Kaduna Hausa Channel.

The
intention of Gov Arch Namadi Sambo in this direction is to enable the
citizenry appreciate in concrete terms the upliftment of their standards of
living which has been brought to bear by this administration without lip
service. Arrangement are also underway using this sector to make the
electronic media located within the State evolve harmonized Public
Enlightenment Programmes using their vaarious frequencies to drum home to the
citizenry the need for dialogue in any situation to achieve lasting and
sustainable peace in the State. |

In order to
boost the revenue generation base on the sector government has completed
Mini Theatre of the council for Arts and Culture. It will have the capacity
of accommodating 300 guests at a time when it is eventually commissioned. To
enhance the security of the council, government has constructed a befitting
wall gate. This had reduced the problem of unwanted visitors trooping into
the council without any genuine function to execute there as well as rampant
thievery by men of the underworld . the Shopping complex which has been
completed and has provided avenues for various businesses that correlate
with the activities of council are also employment opportunity outlets for
the jobless in the State.

Arch Mohammed Namadi Sambo is a true democrat, whose approach to problems is
always humane and conciliatory he is a man of peace who patiently looked to
the future with courage and hope. His commitment in the direction of
transforming the state into a relatively better integrated and functional
polity is continuing with a mission to create a stable and cohesive
polity capable of securing effectively the interests of the various
communities and giving them the opportunity to develop and live in peace
