The Ministry
Kaduna State
Ministry of Justice under Gov Arch Namadi Sambo is focusing on protecting
the lives and liberty of the citizens from the threat of all sorts of
violence. By partnering with caring and compassionate community-based
organizations, the Ministry continuing to help alleviate certain potential
criminal activity or violence before it occurs.
The ministry
has in the past succeeded in handling cases through the following chambers
Kanfanchan Chambers received 103 cases, disposed 47 and 5 pending while the
Zaria chamber receive 164 cases, disposed 107 and 56 pending .
It has also
made some legal reforms like the expansion of the application of Sharia law
and establishment of Sharia courts and Sharia panel code law ,
establishment of Customary courts, Customary law and Customary courts of
Appeal, Legislation on Judicial Service Commission Law and Area Courts Law
and now in the process of recommending the amendment to the penal code law
criminal procedure and other criminal laws.

knows that
successful states today, were those whose indigenes, at one time or the
other, under strong leadership, rose above personal, sectional or religious
differences and worked together to build a viable communities in order to
guarantee the welfare of its citizens. Indeed, most times the worst had to
be experienced before God would provide a gateway to progress and growth.
Namadi Sambo’s
understanding of this fact will ultimately bring lasting solution to
communal tensions, inequities, economic degradation and erosion of values in
the state. Indeed,
Namadi
Sambo’s
Legacy will be a turning point towards yet another unifying power in the
history of Kaduna state, and Nigeria.
Governor
Arch Mohammed Namadi Sambo is a true democrat, whose approach to problems is
always humane and conciliatory he is a man of peace who patiently looked to
the future with courage and hope. His commitment in the direction of
transforming the state into a relatively better integrated and functional
polity is continuing with a mission to create a stable and cohesive
polity capable of securing effectively the interests of the various
communities and giving them the opportunity to develop and live in peace
