Gov Namadi approves Vehicle Loan for Permanent Secretaries, Auditors General (State and Local Governments) and the Accountant-General

PRESS STATEMENT

As a mark of appreciation of the role the Civil Service has played over the last one year and in a bid to motivate them to perform optimally; and in commemoration of the Civil Service Day Celebrations, His Excellency Arc Mohammed Namadi Sambo has approved the release of the sum of N159,727,360.00 as Vehicle Loan for Permanent Secretaries, Auditors General (State and Local Governments) and the Accountant-General. The loan is to be repaid within six years of receipt and each person is to receive the sum of N4,991,480.00

Similarly, the Governor has approved the sum of N400,000,000.00 for disbursement to Civil Servants. The first instalment of N200,000,000.00 has been released for immediate disbursement to them as Micro-Credit Loan Scheme while the other N200,000,000.00 will be released subsequently upon satisfactory disbursement of the first instalment.

His Excellency has also approved the upward review of Law School students allowances from the State from N97,500.00 to N130,000.00 per student. This is to boost their morale and enable them succeed in the Law School.
