Gov Arc Namadi Sambo receives Best AIT Award on Security

PRESS STATEMENT

  The Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Gov. Arc. Namada Sambo has received AIT Award tag: The BEST IN STATE SECURITY. Kaduna State is ranked the best in Security outfit with Opration Yaki taking the lead on Security and Peace in the country. This is in parallel with the State receiving the Government ranking fom the Word Bank and the International Finance Corporations on the Best place to do business.

The Occasion of the AIT Awards took place at Arewa House main Hall on Sunday June 15, 2008 at 8:00pm. Others who received Awards include the Governor of Niger State, Babangida Aliyu, Governor of Kano State and members of the Business Communities. The former Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abubakar Rimi was the Chairman of the occassion.

Governor Arch Mohammed Namadi Sambo is a true democrat, whose approach to problems is always humane and conciliatory he is a man of peace who patiently looked to the future with courage and hope. His commitment in the direction of transforming the state into a relatively better integrated and functional polity is continuing  with a mission  to create a stable  and cohesive polity capable of securing effectively the interests of the various communities and giving them the opportunity to develop and live in peace  with one another.
