Today marks another milestone in our resolve to host a successful 16th National Sports Festival (KADA 2008). In the next 6 weeks, Nigerian youths will make Kaduna home for 8 days of competition, friendship and fun.

When we started planning for this games, we reached out to the corporate community and our friends across the business landscape to come and partner with us as we host the 16th National Sports Festival.

Today, we are celebrating the fruit of that quest.

Let me be quite clear here, this is not something for nothing. It is a partnership that we want to sustain with PAN and with all those who are partnering with us and those who with us during the games. Together with other sponsors who are willing to partner with us, it is a great pleasure for me and for the people of Kaduna State to accept this wonderful gesture PAN.

We as a Government are putting a signature to this partnership. It is a signature that will stand out now and far after the Games. Together, we are embarking on a special adventure. We are investing in Sports and also in People. The future could therefore, hardly be brighter.
